I'm just switching to Broadband and I'm planning on getting the Netgear DG834GT wireless modem which will be connected to my Win 2000 PC.

I have another PC also running Win 2000 downstairs and therefore plan to buy a USB adapter for that one.. However the USB ports on the PC are only 1.1, where as the USB adapter is designed for USB 2.0.

Therefore Can I still use the USB adapter.
The PC downstairs will on be used for email and occasional web browsing, so speed etc is not a real issue.
I have asked Netgear, but haven't got a response as yet..

Thanks in advance

Jules
