Problem Description:
I continue to have problems where I cannot connect to the internet. If I unplug the power from the RP114 router after it powers backup it is then ok & I can connect again to the internet. This is a very frustrating problem
Whats is wrong with my router?

Hi,

Unless its a faulty unit the only thing that I can think of is a problem with dhcp. Assuming you have your PC set up to automatically be configured by the router you could instead try a static TCP/IP config to see if it makes a difference.

Assuming you are using some version of M$/Windows, you just go into the network applet of control-panel, select the protocols tab, select tcp/ip and then click on properties. Set the following manually :

IP address 192.168.0.2 ( or any other similar 192.168.0.x address up to 192.168.0.31)
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Gateway address 192.168.0.1 (the router)

Save & Exit , etc.

Hopefully that might improve things
Regards
