Hi,
Can any of you guys help me out here.
I have been working on a job, where there is a wireless network installed using a Netgear ME102 Wireless Access Point.
This apparently has not worked since before the guy who looked after their network left, and I am now trying to sort out the mess he has left.
From the information I have obtianed, he has tried to carry out a flash upgrade on this W.A.P. The W.A.P. now has no MAC address, and I cannot configure any parts of this.
I have since tried to flash this again with the correct firmware, but to no avail. I have also tried the Linksys WAP11 firmware, as this is the same hardware. Again to no avail.
Is there any way of restoring this to a working condition? I have already suggested replacing this with a new one (54g) but they apparently got ripped off for the Netgear kit, and are very reluctant to spend any more money on getting this sorted, my costs are being absorbed for this in other work I am carrying out.
Any suggestions would be grateful.
Cheers,
Andy
