I replaced a Linksys BEFVP41 with a Netgear FVS338 at the office, which has a static IP.
We still have 1 Linksys BEFVP41 at a users house with Dynamic IP.
With the Linksys, we were able to set the remote gateway in the office to "any" to look for the users dynamic IP
Apparently that is not the case with the Netgear. Nertgear support says it should work with DynDns.com (or something else) and enter the FQDN.
I have no idea what they are talking about. Do i get an account with DynDns.com and make a host for each WAN network, and point the opposite FQDN to the opposite DYNDNS host?
Please help, I am lost.
