I recently installed the Netgear FVL328 at my office, replacing a smaller Linksys VPN router (which, in turn, replaced another Linksys VPN router). I have been able to establish a successful VPN connection using Netgear's VPN software. (I used a modified version of the sample included with both the router and the software.) However, I also have machines with SSH Sentinel v. 1.3 installed that I used to connect to the Linksys boxes. I cannot figure out how to change the settings so that it will work as well. When I try to connect, it shows a successful connection as having been made. Even the log shows that the Phase 1 and 2 connections are successful. And yet, I can neither "see" nor ping anything on the network. Does anyone know of an instruction set for setting up Sentinel to connect to one of these routers?
