netgear FS726tp vlan setup question

I am having difficulty wrapping my arms around the netgears usage of tagging, untagging, and pvid. I have read the Netgear App notes by Avaya but they only discuss the ports which have IP Phones attached. For example, I have vlan 2 for Data, vlan 4 for Voice. The first 12 ports are POE and some have p.c's piggybacking off the phones. Voicemail is connected to port 23, IP Office to port 24, and router is in port 26. All ports untagged for all vlans except port 26 tagged for vlan 1 and vlan 4. PVID of 2 for all ports except 23 and 24 which are 4. I can ping the voicemail server that is on port 23 from a computer on the Data vlan, but when i try to open 1xportal, it starts but ends up timing out and I am curious if it is one of the settings on port 23.

Any help on the tagging, untagging, and pvid setup is appreciated.

The ports need to be "trunk" ports depending on how the netgear names it. For the extension ports (PoE) they need to be Untagged in the Data VLAN and Tagged in the Voice VLAN.

On the Data DHCP server do a "route add" using dos command.

route add X.X.X.0 255.255.255.0 MASK Y.Y.Y.Y -p

X.X.X.0 is your network ip addr
Y.Y.Y.Y is your gateway
-p is to make in permanent

Now add a new scope option in your data dhcp server configured as a "string" in the string add

L2Q=1,L2QVLAN=XXX (where XXX is your voice VLAN id)

If this is all to complicated then let someone who knows what he is doing configure it for you.
