Netgear DM602/Windows 2000 Pro and Freeserve

I've just replaced my "green frog" adsl modem for a netgear DM602, set it all up as per the instructions, got to the settings stage (192.168.0.1) and entered all the settings from freeserve tech support and still can't connect to the net, am I missing something or is this modem bust?

Any help would be good
