Hello,

Does anybody have any experience of the VPN pass through feature on NetGear DSL/routers ?

Specifically, does this feature just pass any IKE/IPSec packets through the router unaltered ?

As this device is performing NAT and by default configures a private 192.168.x.x for your internal network, will the source address for any IKE/IPSec packets be from the internal 192.168.x.x address ? If so how can the remote VPN server respond to what is basically a non-routable address ?

Any clarification much appreciated !
