Netgear box-to-box VPN Browsing?

I've been using SafeNet client to access our FVS318 at work for about a year now, and after a very painful learning curve ( see thread463-562178 if you're in this boat) it has been doing the job within it's limitations.

Now I'm going wireless at home - requiring a new router - and I'm wondering if I should buy a Netgear FWG114P to expand the capabilities of my VPN connection. If you're familiar with the SafeNet client, you know that you can't browse the remote network because the earlier SafeNet branded clients don't support NetBIOS over TCP/IP (Does the Netgear branded version?).

Do any of you who use Netgear-box-to-Netgear-box VPN's have any recommendations? I'm ASSuming that using two Netgear VPN endpoints that both support NetBIOS over TCP/IP will allow me to browse the remote network (on the FVS318). Am I correct here?

Also, will a box-to-box VPN allow me to actually log onto the Win2k domain at work from home? It would be great to access files and folders on the server without having to map network drives every session like I must do now with the SafeNet client!

Would I be better off taking another swing at setting up the XP Pro VPN client and getting a pass-thru router?

Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.
