.netframe work service pack 1.1

Can anyone help.
I'm trying to load .netframework service pack 1.1 onto my xp machine with novell client 4.91.
It comes up with an error about policy which must be related to the netware.
How can i get this onto a client machine. I have full admin rights but no luck.
