Netfinity 5500 Multiple Nic Installation

Hello

Does anyone know why I might be having a problem installing additional 2 Intel Nic cards in my 5500 server. After installing 2 PCI Intel Server Nics the machine did not function properly let alone boot properly. I sure do miss the IBC Tech forum.

P.S Very uhappy with IBM's support..

What other adapters do you have in it?
Also which 5500 model?
What OS?
We have a 5500M20 with 2 IBM SX Adapters.
2 Intel 10/100s running in a gang.
1 3Hb ServerRaid and 1 Adaptec 2940UW
NT 4.0 SP6

Is this close to yours?
