HI there,

i have a little problem with netcat printing!

we have serial printers which are attached to a
serial->ethernet device, there is rts/cts flow ctrl between the printer and the serial->ethernet device
but not between the sco 5.0.6 host and the device

this means we overwrite data on the printer. is there a way of testing if we should be sending data?

is there a version of netcat that does this?

cheers,

Russ

Which sort of serial->ethernet device are you using ?
You can't configure it port by port ?

its a moxa de304. i cant see anywhere to configure it
ive asked the people i bought them off, but to be honest they seem to just sell them and not support them!

which is fine, nine times out of ten i dont need this functionality, it would just be nice!
