hi, i'm currently looking after a large network of windows XP based computers, and need to check each one for writeable shares that may have been left open by the user. it is not viable to check each one manually. I have tried nbtscan but this does not do exactly what i want. does anyone know of any windows-based (preferably command-line) netbios scanners that test each share for write permissions? or would it be more viable to write a batch script to carry this out? thanks!
