I have a small single domain, two site (routed subnets) network with 2000 Advanced server at main site and 2000 server at remote. Since I have to run NetBIOS over TCP/IP in order to access shares across the route (I think?) I would like to do away with NETBEUI all together to make things simpler. All clients are Win98SE, WinME or 2000pro.
I was successful in removing BETBEUI from the workstations but would like to remove it from the servers as well. I have a vague memory of hearing that this causes problems on the servers. Can anyone tell me if I can remove NETBUEI safely from my two servers and just run NetBIOS over TCP/IP?

Thanks,
TurboDuster
