Netbackup will not mount cleaning tape

I am running NBU ver 4.5, I have 3 powervault 136T libraries, and none of them will mount a cleaning tape. they are in the "None" pool, and the media type is HC_CLN. The cleaning media show ZERO mounts.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Do not look at the mounts - Cleaning tapes are handled differently. In the media monitor you can add a column "Cleanings Remaining" - That will decrement as the tapes are used. Typical new cleaning tape should show 20 and when itis done = 0.

Make sure your drives are set to auto clean via...
tpclean -F <drive Name> 50 <== My suggestion for the ideal cleaning time is 50 hours, no higher.
