Netbackup Operations Manager can't find my server!

Hi all,

We've just upgraded our systems to Netbackup V6.0 (MP1). This comes with Netbackup Operations Manager (a web based backup management tool that enables administration of all servers from a central point). I've managed to add three out of our four master servers to the list managed by NOM but it will not find the last one. All the servers are "trusted" by each other (added to the server list in Administration Console, Host Properties, Master Server, Servers). They can all talk to each other on the network (pinging and file copies etc). Netbackup services are up and running on all of them and all the servers are running at least version 6.0. Despite all this whenever I try to add the final server to the list in NOM it errors with "Server <server name> could not be located ....."

Any suggestions?

TIA
DS

Sounds like a possible DNS issue. Can you do an nslookup of the server from the NOM? Add the server to the hosts file of the NOM to see if that helps?
