NetBackup not unmounting tapes after backup has finished

We have a problem if a backup is running on a Client and another one kicks off on the same client and finishes before the first one does, the tape in that drive does not unmount. vmdareq still shows the drive as being reserved. Once the first backup finishes the second backup releases the tape. We are on Netbackup 3.4.1 Patch NB_34_5.
Any ideas?

At the NB Administration Console, Go to the Master Server Properties and then to the Media Tab...You will see a setting for "Media unmount delay"...My company uses NB 4.5 and we previously had this set to 200 seconds...We have reduced it to 120 seconds. I would try this setting first, if it still causes problems, try reducing the time a little more. Good luck!!!
