when i type jnbSA from the netbackup server, the error message i receive is as follows:

error loading applet.vrts.admin.Launch: java.lang.Error: unrecognized Keycode name: VK_Page_Up.

I can bring up the java window perfectly from my desktop running win2k, secure crt, and exceed.

Do you mean you can export the display ok from the server to your desktop (EXPORT DISPLAY=x.x.x.x:0.0)?

How are you trying to view the GUI, from local server?

What is your system configuration, Solaris/WIN2000?

StickyBit.

Ok, I know your system configuration (Solaris) but I still don’t know what you’re trying to do. Where are you trying to see the display? Locally on the server connected via your xclient (exceed) or are you trying to export the display to your desktop via your xclient (exceed)? or something else?

StickyBit.

Running Solaris 8, Ultra 60. Display set to servername:0.0. I type jnbSA and the java will not load. but if i telnet to another server, type xhost +, then telnet back into the netbackup server, it works. odd..

I had errors using the java interface and found they were related to the version of java that I was running. I know that the java app will run w/ java version 1.2.1 and 1.2.2 Brantley Fry
