I am a new user to netbackup(ver3.4.1GA) and I am having trouble trying to do a restore on the client. I have the client running on
win2000. The problem is when I go to the "backup, archive and restore" it doesn't give me options to change anything.
I can only look at the master server and not at the media.
Can anyone point me in the right direction.
Cheers

I will assume that you are running the "backup/Archive/Restore' GUI on the client that you need to restore to ...
Under Specify Netbackup machines - Manually add the name of the client - If this is the server that is being backed up - It should already be there - You just need to specify the type of backup.

Thanks for that.
I think it might be a permissions problem
as I don't get an option to
specify netbackup machines in the "backup/archive and restore" GUI.
I am running netbackup datacenter version 3.4.1GA
I have logged on as root to this but there seems to be quite
a lot of options missing.

Where are you running the restore from? A media server, a client, the master server, an administration console?

Thanks for your help.
It was a permissions problem.
