In doing a DR restore, we have a support partition on our servers (C:\) and a system or production partition (D:\)

we start the support partition (or create a new one) and run the client to restore the prod (d:\) partition from backup, but when we select the System state restore, it always restores it to the C:\ drive (im assuming because its the current logged in OS)

we cant even force the system state to the d: drive.

i think i may have answered my own question - but i'll still throw this out there.

thanks.

Hi,

you cannot redirect a System State to the D: Drive.

Cheers.

but what if your system root is on the d:\ drive?
