Does anyone have a solution for auditing on Netapp Filers? I know cifs audit save will enable logging the logs and to enable auditing on specific directories you use the advanced properties from a windows file folder.

Enabling auditing generates alot of data. Is there any good way to archive the data? Is there anyway to get log data saved to another source or emailed? How about dumped to syslog?

The windows event logs are hell to scroll through? Are there any external apps that connect to the filer and allow more advanced auditing options?
