.net2005 sp1 applied & lost crystal XI r2

i recently applied the sp1 to .net 2005, upon doing so, it no longer shows Crystal Reports under the Add New Item (templates) which it did before the sp1.

the .net 2005 correctly shows i have Crystal Reports XI r2 developer edition.

i've tried reloading my crystal xi r2, but that makes no difference.

it does seem, like the microsoft sp1 changed something, because my earlier window/crystal projects do not compile correctly anymore.

any ideas?
