I have used Net Zero ISP for 2 years (at least) on my HP Vectra (PII, 266mhz, 64MegRAM, 3.23 gig HD, Windows 98) computer. It never was super but generaly OK.

After doing an upgrade from Microsoft, I cannot connect to NetZero.

I get the following messages after dialing in:
Your membership ID and password are being verified.
You are logged in.
Failed conncting to our server.

I have even replacing the modem and re-installed NetZero (more than once). No change.

I have a feeling that the registry is messed up but don't know how to fix it.

I ran an old version of McAfee Registry Wizard and it found 29 orphans. I told the program to fix them but it didn't.

I am reluctant to delete this entries.

as it looks to me it is a problem with DUN try reinstalling that through add/remove progs in control panel. delete all of your connections in DUN and make a new for net-zero. it may be as simple as a couple of check boxes being checked in the network settings of that connection so you may want to check there first. good luck and let us know if you need more help.
