How to I reasign my domain time server.

I used the following command net time /setsntp:192.4.41.40 on a server back in 2000 but not want to move that function to a new server. Do I just run this command on a new server?

Thanks

Charles

If it is a mixed mode domain, with NT BDC's or 9x/NT workstations, run the command on the server that is the PDC emulator. If the new server isn't the PDC Emulator, you might want to assign it the role....

Only the Windows 2000 PDC emulator FSMO role holder can set time from an external time source.
