net time fails on 98 clients

I modified my .bat with the net time command (net time \\pdc /set /yes) my clients consist of 98se/win2k/wnnt4.0ws the only one it won't update is the 98 clients? has anyone had this problem and if you have a what was your resolution or if there is a 3rd party software you are useing with success please let me know what it is.

Open a Dos window on one of the workstations and try running the command. Any error you get should indicate why it's not working. I've run this command from login scripts on NT 3.51 and 4.0 networks and never had a problem.
