Im trying to get snmptrapd from the NET-SNMP package to recive and process snmp traps from veritas backupexec. I've turned on snmp within Backup Exec ok, but the snmptrapd.conf is causing me problems.
I've download the vertias.mib file, but i'm still not sure what to put into the conf file after traphandle. I also have the OID for the trap I want to process, but how to I turn that into something simular to:
traphandle ARCserve-Alarm-MIB::arcServetrap9
which is one someone gave me for archserve?
I'm also yet to find a howto that covers conversion between the two etc.
