Every time I open the local settings folder in c:\documents and settings\admin the "sign in with microsoft passport network" box opens I have to cancel this twice before the folder will open. As far as I am aware neither passport or messenger is installed on my machine. I don't use any form of IM and am running pestpatrol and MS antispyware and have AV and firewall (Mcafee corporate) installed.

How can I get rid of this???

What files/Folders to you have in that folder?

I believe the only things you should have is 4 folders which are:

Application Data
History
Temp
Temporary Internet Files

Freeware Utilities for Windows Administrators.

those are the 4 folders i have. Even once I've cleared out the temp internet & temp folders it still displays the login. I've searched the app data folder and there is no reference to passport in there.
