Hello,
I'm trying to set up Integrated Windows Authentication for an Intranet web site I built for my company. I'm having a serious problem that I can't seem to fix, though. In Control Panel->Admin Tools->IIS->Directory Security->Edit I unchecked "Anonymous Access", which I know was a correct step. Then I checked .NET Passport Authentication by mistake. After realizing what the problem was, I went back and unchecked .NET Passport Authentication and changed it to Windows Integrated Authentication. Now I'm still getting the stupid .NET Passport login prompt. How do I make it go away? Thanks.

Nick

Have you tried stopping and starting the site? I have found several occasions where if I don't stop and start the site, the changes don't take effect properly.

That did it. The .NET Passport prompt is gone. However, the Windows login prompt is coming up, and I don't like that. Isn't there a way to automatically impersonate a user without them having to log in?

Thanks,
Nick

Now I'm confused. You don't want anonymous access but you want everyone who hits the site to get logged in automatically? What would be the point of that? Or am I missing something?
