Hi

I have just built a development machine which is a Windows 2000 OS with SQL 2000 Server and Visual Studio .Net.

However I have noticed a few problems with the IIS configuration. The virtual site configuration in IIS does not show any of the file extensions for the .Net platform. So basically if I try and call a .aspx or any other .net file extension the file is not loaded. So i thought I would configure IIS to point at the aspnet_isapi.dll however I cannot find this file. I have looked under SystemRoot/WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.0.3705\ but to no evail. Can I just copy this file from another machine andf place it under this directory? Or is there a configuartion file that I can use to get IIS to look for all these files

Many thanks

What came first: the .NET framework or the IIS (install wise that is).

If you installed the framework BEFORE you installed IIS, that could be your issue.
