Hey all,

I was just wondering. I have this beautiful ASP.NET book staring at me, with a VB.NET Reference book that shows old vb6 code that has new syntax for vb.net environment. I'm running on an SQL Version 8 (2000) engine. Programming environment is Visual Studio 6.

What requirements would it take to start working in the .Net framework? Am I ready to use it already? hehe

Any info would be nice 8)

Thanks all. Errol Barratt

Well, you would need the development environment (visual studio.net) the framework and any users that use your apps will also need to download the framework. the server will need the framework as well.

Do i need to have .NET Server and client software or is there an upgrade Framework software package that works with Windows Server 2000 & Windows 2000 client & sql2000? hehe if that doesn't make sense it's just me lol. Errol Barratt
