To check for new drivers/firmware for your Linksys device, I regularly check this site, and click to sort by date: ftp://ftp.linksys.com/pub/network/
If you have a WPC11 Version 3, and are using any of the 54 G products as routers or access points, you can use the regular linksys site to download drivers. You should do so. Please note at the site that if your PCMCIA bus controller is from TI you need to download a specific version of the driver.
If you have a WRT54G, I think you will appreciate the newest firmware relase of 6/24/03. This gives you more options but seems just a lot cleaner to me overall. You can find this at the link above.
If you have the 802.11b "Wireless Kit" and or version 4 of the W11sp Version 4 wireless broadband/cable router, upgrade this firmware release.
This is beta, but works better than what you have. No gaurantees, but it seems to work a heck of a lot better for many users.
You can expect for the 54G router, Access point, and client adapter regular firmware and software driver changes over the near term.
Check the first link above on a regular basis.
For thos using the WPC11 Version 4, expect a new driver shortly. There are already betas, but they have not been tested enough for me to feel comfortable about providing a link to them.
For those with the WPC11 Version 3 adapter, stay with your existing drivers at the moment unless you have upgraded your routers or access points to the newer G product. In that case use the newer drivers from the official Linksys download site http:\\
