hi all
I have a dell laitude d600 that works well but has a couple of issues.
When left idle and powered down to standby, the network connection is lost after waking from standby.
Messages like "adapter state not found in registry" are shown when i try to enable device(intel pro/wireless).
After a reboot everything returns to its place without a problem. I would appreciate any suggested remedies (a setting adjustment maybe?)
thanks very much

One thing to try:
Control Panel > Network Connections, double-click the entry for your network card (Local Area Connection).

In the status window that appears, click the Properties button. At the top where it says "Connect Using:" and shows your NIC, click the "Configure" button. Go to the "Power Management" tab (if it's there), and make sure that "Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power" is NOT checked.
