Does anyone know where I can get a listing for all options of the NET.CFG file?

Specifically I am looking for the options that pertain to the IP settings on NW 5.1 DOS client (i.e. PATH TCP_CFG, IPADDRESS, etc.) but a full listing would be great.

Try these:

Protocol TCPIP
; FOR DHCP
path tcp_cfg a:\nwclient

; FOR STATIC IP
ip_address 192.168.1.120
ip_router 192.168.1.1
ip_netmask 255.255.255.0
path tcp_cfg a:\nwclient -----------------------------------------------------
"It's true, its damn true!"
-----------------------------------------------------

Thank you for the reply. I understand what the settings are but wanted more detail as to what they do.

IE. "path tcp_cfg a:\nwclient" What is this parameter used for and what is kept in this location?

For the options I have listed:

path tcp_cfg a:\nwclient - determins where the configuration files for the IP configuration are stored. These files include RESOLV.CFG which stores the DNS domain name and name servers

ip_address - here is where you can define a static IP address

ip_router - default router on the particular segment of network

ip_netmask - subnet mask of network

If there are any more I have not listed and you would like to know, please post back.
