We've developed an application using Visual Studio .NET (using C#) against a SQL Server database.
It seems that the client machines run this application OK.
However we have some client machines off-site and the users dial in and access the application via a Citrix server.
What we've been told is that in some instances, the user may leave their client machine (off-site) for a period of time and when they return to it and try and make use of the database connection (i.e. accessing a new form from the menu where the connection is set up) they get an error.
The application crashes and gives the error :
"Cannot allocate a new command ID".
We're unclear whether the error is generated due to SQL Server or (more likely) by Citrix ?
Can anyone shed any light on this ?
I have no real experience of Citrix so would feel reluctant to point the finger at this as the cause if this is not the root of the problem.
Any help would be appreciated ....
Thanks in advance
Steve
