Hello,

I have a .net application which is importing data from a remote MS-SQL database and creating AR Invoice Batches. Do I need to install Accpac locally on the server that will host my web application in order for it to work? I'm not 100% sure how the DLL communicates with the server as I never had to explicitly setup a connection string in my development environment but I do have Accpac installed on the development box with ODBC connections to a local MS-SQL server.

Network admin would like to avoid installing Accpac if at all possible. Thanks for your help in advance.

If you're creating batches, then you MUST use the Accpac API, therefore you need the Accpac client.

Thank you for the reply tuba. I was thinking that would be the case.

Please share the technical info. if you can create the AR batch from your asp.NET application using api. I could not create Accpac transactions from ASP.NET.
