nesting layers on margin auto auto doesnt work?

hello
ok so ive got my div layer with nested layers inside.
ive set my base div layer as margin; auto auto so that its always centered on the browser page. the problem is i dont know how to set my div layers that are on top of this layer to be auto auto aswell. is it even possible?

set their margins as auto also?
