"give NS6 is supposed to be the better browser now regarding DHTML" LOL
why do you want to code for ..."the other browser"... (ok, NS) anyway ?

ok i'm sorry it was not really helpfull
but i can't really help regarding ns because they really have weird stuffs. hope someone else could.

Netscape 6 has been fixed with a few little details, but the family heirarchy is still wack. The fact is now there are 3 browsers. IE, netscape before 6 and netscape 6. You still need to program for both browsers if you want to have a successful e-comerce site (dah, in you offense). I recommend the book "esential CSs & DHTML for web professionals" by Dan Livingston & Micah Brown. I picked this book up for 15 (half price) and couldn't put it down. One of those instructional books that you can just read, and you don't have to actually do the steps on the computer. It is also great for reference. The best part is that it discussed the browser issue and suggests a few tricks to fix this problem.

there was a thread with good good sites on the dom, but i can't remember in which forum ... try to search this one for "dom reference" or something
