I am running Excel 2003 (win) and need help with a nested IF formula. I will try to describe what I am trying to do:

If F8=8540 and O8="*" the result should be facilitator
If F8=8540 and O8=1 the result should be Co-facilitad
If niether of the above criteria is true, the cell should be blank.

Please help.

Try something like this:

(spaced out so you can see what's going on)
[tt]
=IF(F8=8540, First Test
IF(O8="*", Result of First Test if True; Second Test
"facilitator", Result of Second Test if True
IF(O8=1, Result of Second Test if False; Third Test
"Co-facilitaded", Result of Third Test if True
"")), Result of Third Test if False
"") Result of First Test if False

[/tt]
