Fellow Clarion users,
I am using a Process to update a single field for all existing records if a condition is met (TPS file) In the 'Process properties' I am using 'PUT()record' as the 'Action for process'. I have placed my conditional embed code at 'GetNextRecord ROUTINE, NEXT succeeds' and it appears to work fine but wondered if my conditional code should be at 'Activity for each record' Is there any advantages/Disadvantages? Is there anything else I need to be careful about when using a Process? Thanks all.

it is better to 'use No record action' instead of put as the 'Action for process' and put your conditional embed code at at 'Activity for each record' with Put(Table) if it matches the condition.

but I believe that use Record Filter is more safe.

I hope this will help
