Nero doesn't want to burn a CD... 2

Hello!!!

These are my IDE controllers:


IDE1
[ul][li]Master: 20 Gb Disk (Windows 98 SE)[/li] [li]Slave: MSI 48x16x48x CD Recorder[/li][/ul]

IDE2
[ul][li]Master: LiteOn CD Reader[/li] [li]Slave: 8 Gb Disk (Debian GNU/Linux)[/li][/ul]


Nero operates correctly with Re-Writable CDs, but I can't burn a compilation or copy an audio CD....

What kind of IDE configuration do you suggest to me?

When copying an audio CD, use the option to make an image on your hard drive first, unless you have "buffer underrun" protection enabled.
When copying, don't try and do it at the fastest speed. I would bump it down to 32x, or 24x to avoid errors. Cheers,

It's not "enabling buffer underrun"...your burner either has it, or not. Most newer burners have it, check the documentation that came with the burner.
If the burner has buffern underrun protection, Nero will use it automatically. Cheers,
