I have a demo version of NERO 5.5.2.4. It is suppose to expire on 7/31/01. I am trying to burn a mixed-mode CD. When I open the .nrm file, it tells me the demo has expired (even though it is not 7/31 yet). But it still opens the session. When I open the Write-CD-Dialog then click "Write", it starts, but then I get a "power calibration error". In the help, I could not tell what this means. Does anyone have any idea?

Power calibration occurs as the drive tries to determine the proper laser power to use on the blank cd. Each CD contains a calibration area which can be burned to (I think up to 99 times), to perform this function.

If this calibration area is full, the blank cd is damaged/corrupt or incompatible with your burner, this error can be produced. First try a different blank cd (a different brand may be required). It can also be caused by a defective CD-RW drive.
