1. Has any one ever connected multiple Compaq neoservers together?

2. I have a neoserver where the ipconfig command does not id the neoserver ip address? Any suggestions?

3. My removeable drive locks on my neoserver, but the server will not boot. There is a signal from the locking mechanism which tells the server to boot, (the two lights should flicker and just one should remain lighted on the removeable drive) while the panel lights go to a check mark. I have moved the removeables to other neoservers and those servers boot correctly and the lights on the removeable drives function properly. Is there a way to boot these neoservers or is there another problem?

Thanks in advance.

Question #1, personally, no.

Question #2, if the address is wrong make certain the IP is unique, otherwise it will default to a random private address. This could be a NIC failure, or an IP inside the DHCP scope of your router.

Question #3: The adapter female connector has died on the bum neoserver. The connections are rated for only so many insertions. Call HP/Compaq.

Thank you for the response. Your answer for my question three threw me. I would never have thought the adapter could have died. I will dismantle my neo and replace the adapter if possible.
