I have a currency field in a formula that I have to convert ToText() to display the formula.
When I run the report in my Crystal 9 developer, the field displays as -$100.00.
When I run the same report in our runtime environment (using Crystal 9 dlls), the field displays as ($100.00).

1. We have our Display Currency Symbol set to No in all of our reports, so why does the $ display?

2. All of our numbers (currency or otherwise) we set to display '-' as the negative sign symbol, so why is runtime displaying the '()' as the negative sign symbol.

Thanks

Totext, unless you specify the format, will use the default format on the computer where the report is run. Go into the HELP for ToText and it will show you optional arguments for formatting - a different set for each data type of input.
