Negative Report parameters via URL

I am calling a report via URL as:

http://172.16.14.29/Col/overandperi...me(2003,4,7,00,00,00)"&promptOnRefresh=0

But it is giving error as:
The syntax of the value for prompt 'P_AMOUNT' is incorrect near '-5000'. Please correct the syntax and try again.

How can I pass negative values as report parameters via URL to the Web Component server?

Crystal has a fairly decent doc on URL commands. Go to the knowledge base and search the docs for ce8_urlcommands.pdf. I think the problem here is that you need "'s around the -5000..

Hello Lisa,
You are correct. The error didnot occur when the amount is passed as "-5000". I have modified my JSP code to generate the amount parameter with the double quotes. Previously I was generating it as int type. Thanks for the solution.
