Negative Number instead of field number

Using CE 10.

I have a report that pulls from two data bases.

The result in my field Line_no should look like:

3
4

This is data pulled from the field (not calculated).

The result is showing:

-1
-1
-1
-1

The report was working fine until we started using CE10.
Any ideas on why this is happening?

I had a similar problem when we upgraded from 8.5 to 10. Most reports were fine, but in one rather complex report, where the links in the 'Database Expert' generated different SQL. You could try posting the SQL from the old and new versions of the report - you should find it as Show SQL Query under [Database] on the menu, and this forum has some SQL experts who could advise.

You could also do a simple work-round: replace the field with a simple running-total count. But if it was my report, I'd want to find out exactly what was happening. Another possibility is to use 'Save As' to get an experimental version of the report, on which you can display extra fields from the various tables and get a clearer picture of what is happening.
