When using the sum formula to add up numbers in cells, I need to know if one or more of those cells carries a negative number (example: -44 or -1), is there a formula that can be used to skip or bypass those cells that carry a negative number while still summing the remainder of the cells.

bbbenaway:

What you are looking for is Sumif.

If your range of number is in a1:a20, try this:

=sumif(a1:a20,">0")

Good luck!
