Hi everyone.

I have a small problem that I SHOULD be able to figure out, but am banging my head on the wall.

I'm installing a 1750 as the gateway to a LAN with 5510s at the core and 470s on the edge. The 1750 is the def GW for multiple VLANs and also the firewall to the greater cyber world. It's all connected to a CS1000S for full VoIP telephony.

Problem I have is that I can't figure out how to have the IP sets request DHCP on their VLAN (102). The set is manually configured for VLAN 102 and full DHCP. The swithces are all untag ALL with PVID of 101 (Mgmt VLAN). I would like full DHCP on the sets to ease use for the end user.

When I try DHCP, I can't get it to draw an IP address from the 1750 even though I have defined the pool and sub-interfaces. If I give the set a static, it works great.

Thanks for all your help.

Forgot to add that the multiple VLANs will be separate subnets of course. The Data VLAN will be served by it's own DHCP so really I only need to serve Management and VoIP VLANs.

Thanks.

Not sure I completely understand "The set is manually configured for VLAN 102 and full DHCP"

Make sure you have interface filters or stateful firewall enabled for DHCP on Contivity to work.

peace
