Greetings to all. I have a customer who has a KXT 1232-D and a new KX-TVA50 for voice-mail. When system is in night service calls ring into system and calls are extended by auto-attendant to users. My customer wants to cut down the wait time from when the auto-attendant answers and extends call to an extension and then comes back on to say that the specific extension user you are trying to reach is not there. Is that possible without flagging boxes to go directly to vooice-mail without ringing extension?

Thanks/Quaz

set fwd busy no answer on the extensions, then the call will ring 3 times then go to vm of that extension without getting user is busy message.

you could also set transfer sequence to fxd, this will stop you have a call message

Obts,

Could you tell me how to program each extension to forward to voice-mail as you described?

Thanx/Quaz

on each handset dial 7105(for busy no answer)or 7104(for no answer fwd only) then voicemail access no (165/265)

if using busy/no answer, if you are on a call the next caller will go straight to vm.

Obtsystem,

I was on site and programmed the extensions with 7105165. Got confirmation tone. When Auto-Attendant extends a call to the extension it rings four times and Auto-Attendant takes the call back. What do I need to change on my end to make this work?

Thanks/Quaz

does that extension have a voicemail box created., if you dial 165 do you get you have x amount of calls or the aa
