Need Virus/SPAM blocking e-mail software

Hi Guys,

We have been getting numerous virus threats lately, especially with this klez virus going around. We also get SPAM mail as well. Is there any software that works to get rid of both? I mean we do already have protection using CA's InoculateIT. It is working well, but does not block SPAM ; just viruses. Also, if I do install new e-mail virus protection software on the server, will that conflict with what I have currently? Please advise. Thanks.

I've had pretty good luck with GFI's Mail Essentials for Exchange. You can set it up as a mail forwarder on a separate server, it'll take care of spam and does virus-scanning (and why not scan twice?) however they're migrating some features to Mail Security and I think it's in beta now. Definitely worth a look.

Take a look at McAfee's e250 appliance. Does anti-spam and virus checking on the same box.
