I can't find the username or where to enter one, for getting web-access to a 460.

The password field in 'Console/Comm Port Configurartion' is set to 'local password.'

The 'use list' field in Web Access Configuration is set to 'yes'.

I believe it's RW - can't remember if it's case sensitive or not.

Not certain if RWA works.

I know that RW (case sensitive) does.

So for the username use RW and for the password use your telnet password.

Yup,

web to the IP address.

Username - RW (case sensitive)
password - whatever you set the web/telnet/console password to be in the configuration. The passwords can be different.
Hope this helps!

Note: that these are the defaults:

User: RO
Password: user

User: RW
Password: Secure

The username coordinates with the type of access one gets.
Be careful though as the TELNET and WEB passwords are tied together...hence if you change one. you're changing the other as well.

This is the case for all the BOSS level code switches (470, BPS2K, 460) as well as other Baystack switches that have web browsers (380, I would suspect 55X0 as well)

Correction- "secure" should be all small.
No capitol "s" as per my last post. Sorry.
